1 . WHAT ARE ARROWAY TEXTURES?
30 piece of high-resolution brilliant Arroway Textures come with Maxwell Box.
This tutorial will demonstrate the usage of these textures.
First, let's review the key features of Arroway Textures:
High-resolution: One of the most important aspects of textures is the resolution they are available in. Only a higher resolution allows you to process them in various ways without loss of quality. Therefore Arroway textures are provided only in high-resolution from 3 up to 60 megapixel!
Multi-layered: All textures consist of several maps. Generally every texture comes with Diffuse-, bump and Specular level map. These advanced maps are the product of specifically developed tools that extract this information from the source material. Additionally every map is post-processed by hand.
Seamless: Arroway-Textures are mostly seamless tilable.
Close to reality: A realistic impression of the textures is essential.
Therefore Arroway don't use any synthetic generated images.
Instead the textures are built only from photographic material.

Thank you very much Tom, very useful tutorial, i understood well how to create materials but i have an issue, i created the materials just like you say but when i use it in maxwell and render the scene, the textures doesn`t appear, just the color of the texture but nothing more, help please i have centuries with this issue and i can't get rid of it :(
Im having trouble wonder if you can help - as I load my diffuse material into the material editor the preview becomes very grainey, how do I get rid of this?
thanks
You can set preview quality higher. Did you try it already?
Hi all,
I seems to have a reoccurring problem with some materials and Arroway in particular. When I apply the materials and render I get a prompt staring the render failed right before voxilization. It happens with some materials but not others. What am I doing wrong?
